Someone had already rented the main spot when we reserved a few weeks ago. We registered spot 14 next to it. We have all our other spots for the entire weekend.

NEW: DO NOT PAY AT THE BOX – PITCH IN ON SMOKER
Your $5/day box fee has been paid upfront by Cliff with the reservation. Do not pay at the box. The reservation fee is roughly $500. We rented a smoker for this Ungawa. The rental fee is roughly $300. To cover costs, we are suggesting the following: Weekend campers pitch in $40. Single day campers pitch in $20. You can pay Cliff with cash. Venmo will also be accepted.
NEW: THERE IS CURRENTLY A BURN BAN – NO FIRE 🙁
Sadly, as of right now, there is a burn ban. With no rain in the forecast, this will not be lifted before this Ungawa. Not allowed: open fires or charcoal grilling allowed. Allowed: smoker (contained fire off ground) and propane grilling.
NEW: WHISKEY AND RUM TASTING
Our park host Linda shared with us that she has been making her own rum and whiskey. She has been making rum for over 20 years. She just recently started making whiskey. She will be bringing both for us to taste and offer feedback. This will most likely happen on Friday and Saturday. She cannot sell to us, but we can donate $$$ if we feel inclined to do so.
